New characters announced for Mario Kart 8 and Super Smash Bros 4!

Hello everyone, Kieran 'Mukea' Miller here again, just a quick one from me today. So last night was the first Nintendo Direct of 2014 and along with a load of games that are coming out they also showed new trailers of Mario Kart 8 and Super Smash Bros 4, showing off some more of the new characters that they are adding.  Hit read more for more information and for some images of the new characters!

Mario Kart 8 will feature all of the Koopalings as playable racers! So that is seven new characters just from this announcement alone!

I think this is an amazing idea seeing as they are such big characters in the Mario series as a whole but they have yet to feature in a Mario Kart game.





The character they announced for Super Smash Bros 4 was none other than Little Mac from Mike Tyson's Punchout! Once again I think he will make an amazing addition to the Smash Bros roster and I'm kind of amazed it took them this long to add him in.
